The Association for Professional Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy
The Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy is a member organisation of UKCHO (UK Confederation of Hypnotherapy Organisations), an umbrella body for the hypnotherapy profession in the United Kingdom. UKCHO has a mission to ensure that standards of conduct, ethics and practice are appropriate for public safety and also maintains the Public National Register of Hypnotherapists.
APHP is an exclusive body, based in the UK but with world-wide membership, dedicated to maintaining a high standard of professionalism amongst its members, all of whom are fully covered by hypnotherapist's professional indemnity insurance and committed to ongoing training. It is only possible to join the Association and the hypnotherapists directories via invitation or training by an accredited hypnotherapy school. Any complaint against a member will be thoroughly investigated and any necessary action taken to ensure the continued integrity of the Association.
